For the eastern and central North Pacific east of 180 longitude:

Well Southeast of the Hawaiian Islands (CP95):
Showers and thunderstorms associated with a broad area of low
pressure located over the eastern portion of the Central Pacific
basin are showing some signs of organization.  Environmental
conditions appear conducive for additional development of this
system, and a tropical depression is likely to form over the
Central Pacific basin during the next few days while it moves
westward to west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...60 percent.
* Formation chance through 7 days...high...70 percent.

Eastern East Pacific:
A broad area of low pressure offshore of Central America is
producing a large area of disorganized cloudiness and showers.
Gradual development of this system is possible during the next
several days, and a tropical depression could form by this weekend
while the low drifts northward. Regardless of development, this
system could bring areas of heavy rain to portions of Central
America through this weekend.
